Smart Box
Overview
Smart Box allows custom navigation, marketing, part data, and other information to be displayed above search results based on the search query. You can use your HTML code to write the Smart Box from scratch, then use CSS files to update the style.
To display part data, including extracting data from an existing EETS Parametric implementation, you can use the "extern" property to make external API calls to populate your Smart Box with live data.
This feature is only accessible through the EETS API.
Smart Boxes are created in two steps:
Create Smart Box
Link Smart Box to keywords, expressions, or category tabs
All Smart Box's are global on the account they were created and are activated when linked to an engine.
